I've been wondering...

How many people have gotten all their badges? What happens after you defeat the Elite Four? Or, how many badges has everyone gotten?

I wanna take on the badge challenge, so I'm really curious!

[Cue some dry, bitter laughter from this guy. Yeah, somebody might be a little sore on the subject here.]

Nothing happens. You just get stuck with no goals. No direction. The Elite Four won't take challenges. We can't go to any of the other regions... so we're stuck. You can win all the badges you want, but for now, that's it.

[And with that, he heaves a heavy sigh. If only that wasn't the case.]

That's what everyone keeps saying, but I don't care! I'm going to find them and challenge them anyways!

And how do you plan to do that?

No offense, but I don't see how you'll get there when the rest of us haven't even come close.

Well, shouldn't you focus on getting the badges first? The Elite Four's supposed to be the top class of trainers. If you're serious about taking them on, you'll have to work your way up.

Who knows? Maybe they'll actually be taking challenges by the time you get all your badges.

Sure, it was fun. I just hate that I can't do anything else. I got the Training Center to keep me busy, but it's just not the same as being able to go out and face new challenges.

[But is he too pessimistic about it? Hmm...]

But maybe you're onto something. Maybe we should keep pushing.

... It's better than just standing still, right? And, there's still a lot of this world to explore.

I just wish there was more we could explore. Been here for four years now, and I've seen just about every inch of Johto and Kanto. It'd be nice if they'd open up some of the more private spaces or at least let us check out the other regions.

[But he's got some killer wanderlust, and going around the region again and again can't always quench his thirst. What he really needs to do is chill out.]
