I've been wondering...

How many people have gotten all their badges? What happens after you defeat the Elite Four? Or, how many badges has everyone gotten?

I wanna take on the badge challenge, so I'm really curious!

That's what they say, but I've never seen 'em take on a challenger.

Well, if you can find 'em, give me a holler. They don't show their faces too often. When they do, they've got guards with 'em that'll haul you away the moment you draw a pokeball.

The last time anyone saw the elite four was during that prom thing. They didn't seem up to talking challenges.

No one knows that for sure, it could just be another rumor. Since this is apparently a "game world", to get out people think you have to beat the game.

... Hey, Killua. Where are you? It feels kinda weird to talk to each other over this like this. [ They've been face to face with one another this entire time, unless they're doing something really important. ]

Don't you become the new Champion, or something? I'm not really sure about what that really involves, though.

Yeah! But, if more than one person beats the Elite Four, deson't that mean there'd be more than one champion? Sounds fun!

I don't know - maybe the old champion has to fight the new one to see who gets to keep the title? Maybe the gym leaders have more of an idea...

I wanna ask. I'm about ready to start on my own journey to start collecting badges. I can't wait!

I've heard about people that did--I don't think anything happens at all. There used to be a rumor that getting all your badges let you get outta here, but obviously that ain't the case.

I've left before. ... I wonder who's bringing people in in the first place. [ Being kidnapped doesn't really bug him in the first place, though. ] Whoever it is, this isn't really a bad place to be in at all.

I haven't wanted to think a lot about it, either. They're probably not bad people, right? [ Though, Gon's view of right and wrong was extremely subjective. ] This is a good world, with a lot of good people.

I've long obtained all sixteen badges, but we've not yet been allowed to face the Elite Four in battle. The rumors back then said that winning against them would allow us to return home, but sadly none of us have ever had the chance to prove it.

Mm, that's what a few people have said. If that's the case, I'll make them talk to me when I get all of the badges myself!

That'll be more difficult than you'd think; the routes leading to their probable location are all closed to travelers.

[Cue some dry, bitter laughter from this guy. Yeah, somebody might be a little sore on the subject here.]

Nothing happens. You just get stuck with no goals. No direction. The Elite Four won't take challenges. We can't go to any of the other regions... so we're stuck. You can win all the badges you want, but for now, that's it.

[And with that, he heaves a heavy sigh. If only that wasn't the case.]

That's what everyone keeps saying, but I don't care! I'm going to find them and challenge them anyways!

No offense, but I don't see how you'll get there when the rest of us haven't even come close.
